經查影片內容與謠言查證無關，不過訊息中誤指日本相撲選手炎鵬晃出生地為日本石川縣金澤市，與台灣完全沒有關係。

炎鵬的噸位因為以小博大，比賽影片常常被用來比喻兩岸政治關係在LINE上轉傳，引伸比喻説台灣這幾年抗中反中一樣是在「以小搏大」。
