我國並沒有阻撓民間捐贈疫苗，而是輝瑞與嬌生皆表示只會與中央政府主管機關協商與供應疫苗。即便如此，政府仍積極協助民間捐贈事宜，目前嬌生已取得食藥署緊急授權，只要廠商願意，隨時都能進口；BNT也已取得有條件緊急授權，只要補齊工廠相關製程資料即可進口。
