LINE@台灣官方Blog也發表官方公告，表示近期有業者不當使用LINE@生活圈帳號，利用贈送貼圖或商家禮券等手法吸引大量用戶加入，假如用戶在過程中提供自己的LINE ID，有可能成為部分不肖業者發送商業廣告或色情等內容的對象，也有可能待帳號累積大量好友數後，就將帳號轉賣，或甚至轉成其他違法用途。
