根據台灣事實查核中心#966查核報告，感染科醫師指出，吃冰品跟感染新冠病毒沒有直接關係，預防新冠病毒的重點在於落實戴口罩、勤洗手、保持社交距離等防疫措施。

此外中醫師則認為，吃冰品會影響人體免疫力，當人體免疫力變差，就易降低對外界病邪的免疫力。
