在台灣，可卡因被列為一級毒品，根據《毒品危害防制條例》，製造、運輸或販賣第一級毒品，可被處死刑或無期徒刑；處無期徒刑者，需被判罰新台幣2000萬元以下的罰款。而意圖販賣而持有一級毒品者，可被判無期徒刑或10年以上有期徒刑，及判新台幣700萬元以下的罰款
