作者指的可能是“行走棕櫚樹”，它廣泛生活在中、南美洲。行走棕櫚樹被陽光照射的那一側，根部會慢慢的長出一些新的根。而在另外陽光不足的一側，很多根就會慢慢的枯死，然後從樹根上脫落，行走棕櫚樹就是這樣“走路”的。
