類似的訊息早在2016年已曾經流傳過，去年也曾再度「復出」。所謂打開名為「Martinelli」的影片就會中毒實為謠言，西班牙國家警察甚至曾發表聲明，表示「Martinelli」的影片並不存在。事實查核網站Snopes也列明「Martinelli影片的消息為惡作劇。
