南投縣消防局緊急救護科長曾星明對於該謠言頗為無奈，他說，這已傳了好久，且也澄清了好久，119或110均未廢除，且報案速度還是最快。至於112也不是假的號碼，而是國際救援專線，報案的確可打此號碼，只是它還要轉接，國語說一次後還會再說一次英語，速度絕對打直接打119慢很多。
