家庭主婦間流傳著用鹽水、小蘇打粉洗水果可完全去除農藥的說法,不過大家可能沒想過,噴在水果上的農藥也分為水溶性、脂溶性兩種,一旦選錯方法清洗,農藥還沒洗掉,水果反而又被汙染。

以鹽水浸洗蔬果為例,台大農業化學系教授顏瑞泓撰寫的《正確洗菜 擺脫農藥陰影》一書指出,蔬果上的農藥大多為脂溶性物質,使用鹽水反而去除力差,比不上清水沖洗來得乾淨。

另外,小蘇打、醋對於清除酸性、鹼性農藥雖然有效,但一般人洗水果花費的時間不足以徹底清除農藥,且醋恐影響水果味道,品質差的小蘇打粉則雜質含量多,反而可能造成其他汙染。
