衛福部疾管署表示，10月2日起分3階段擴大65歲以上民眾公費接種肺炎鏈球菌疫苗，將提供每人公費接種1劑13價結合型肺炎鏈球菌疫苗（PCV13），及1劑23價肺炎鏈球菌多醣體疫苗（PPV23）疫苗。
