並非全震垮，2022年9月18日14點44分台東發生規模6.8強震，桃園最大震度3級，有災情傳出，甫整修完畢的八德國民運動中心5樓羽球場天花板掉落，國民運動中心表示，5樓羽球場因地震，致場地受損，目前暫停開放。
