近期在網路上開始出現以《無懼的愛／「我當他的手 他當我腳蹬」玻璃娃娃戀上截肢男｜三立新聞網 SETN.com》替換《無聲之愛》的版本，無論有心或無意，此舉都已嚴重影響該家庭的名聲，同時也破壞了本中心當初期望讓大眾更認識聾人的目標。除了文化部於民國 107 年的補助外，《無聲之愛》並沒有接受其他公家或民間單位的補助。
