台積電並沒有對行政院發飆。國內疫苗來不及供應時，台積電就有跟總裁魏哲家討論台積電能為社會做些什麼。2021年6 月 8 日董事會與董事討論，董事也認為應積極努力為台灣做事。當時並不知道買不買得到疫苗，後來也經歷很多困難，得到多方面支持，最後才找出一條符合法規又能成功採購的路。
